Ingredients
  

  • 2 overripe bananas
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips divided

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x5 loaf pan.
  2. Mash the bananas until smooth. Add melted butter, sugar, and egg; mix until smooth.
  3. Gradually mix in flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt.
  4. Add milk and mix until smooth. Fold in 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into the pan and top with remaining 1/4 cup chocolate chips.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  7. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
